Wetsuits work to keep you warm by trapping a thin layer of water between the fabric of the wetsuit and your skin. Your body warms up this thin layer of water and thus the water becomes an insulating layer of heat that is held in by the wetsuit. 

Wetsuits are made out of neoprene, an insulating fabric that is highly water resistant. At GRNSTR, we have designed our wetsuits with a premium, buttery soft neoprene that is 2mm thick......

GRNSTR stands for Greene Sister. My sister Mikaela and I are known as The Greene Sisters (you can read about our many adventures from our ABOUT page).

The relationship that I have with my sister is second to none; she is my best friend and is the source of endless support, confidence and laughter in my life. I named my brand GRNSTR because I want to bring that same strength and sisterhood to my customers.....

While growing up, the “surfer girl” aesthetic felt strictly policed; if you weren’t blonde and petite you were invisible to the major brands and their sponsorship opportunities. For the better part of a decade, the models used for surfing campaigns fit a very specific casting call. At the mere age of sixteen I struggled to squeeze into bikini tops that did not fit, in an attempt to engage with the major brands. I could only imagine how other girls, more voluptuous than me, might be feeling.....
